Savage X Fenty is currently looking for a Concept & Color Designer.

How do you fit in?

We're seeking a collaborative and proactive Color & Concept Designer to creative to support seasonal color development across both Women's and Men's categories. In this role, you'll help bring seasonal color direction to life from concept through execution while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across design, development, and production.

You'll also play a key role in supporting the Graphics & Print team, owning the execution of placements and scale to ensure every design lands with clarity and impact. Working closely with designers and leadership, you'll help translate creative direction into polished, production-ready work. We're looking for someone exceptionally organized and detail-driven able to manage multiple priorities, maintain consistency across categories, and keep projects moving forward with precision and efficiency.

This role will report to the Sr. Designer - Prints & Graphics.

What you will do:

Design / Create

  • Pull color and trend inspiration from macro trends, seasonal direction, and market research to inform category color strategy.

  • Collaborate with VP, Director, and Senior Designers to develop seasonal color direction aligned with overall brand vision.

  • Create and maintain physical and digital Women's and Men's seasonal color palettes for concept and cross-functional presentations.

  • Develop compelling color stories that support seasonal themes and product assortments.

  • Support print and graphic color execution, including artwork scaling and placement to meet tech pack deadlines.

  • Ensure all prints presented during sketch and proto reviews are supported with accurate color chips and visual materials.

  • Stay current on color trends, tools (Pantone/Coloro), and industry direction.

Team / Collaborate

  • Partner closely with Design, Technical Design, Product Development (PD), and Raw Materials (RD) teams to execute color direction.

  • Act as liaison between Design and Technical Color teams to ensure accurate communication with vendors.

  • Support cross-functional meetings (Sketch Review, Proto Review, and weekly Color/Artwork meetings), ensuring updates are clearly communicated and documented.

  • Manage strike-offs and lab dips, including weekly comments, approvals, and updates for prints and graphics.

  • Maintain clear and organized communication in PLM (Centric) to ensure visibility across teams.

Execution / Operations

  • Own Pantone/Coloro swatch ordering and maintain physical color systems and seasonal archives.

  • Manage color and print naming processes, including maintaining master lists and documentation.

  • Update and manage master color documents, ensuring seasonal accuracy and consistency.

  • Maintain digital libraries, including seasonal palettes and print libraries in Illustrator and Miro.

  • Ensure all color deliverables align with seasonal calendars and key milestones.

  • Maintain organized physical and digital color systems, including Pantone/Coloro libraries and archives.

  • Track and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Ensure all files, palettes, and documentation are accurate, updated, and presentation-ready.

What you can bring:

  • 4-6+ years of experience in color design, textile design, or a related field (apparel preferred).

  • Strong understanding of color theory, color development processes, and print/graphic application.

  • Familiarity with apparel product lifecycle from concept through production.

  • Working knowledge of PLM systems (Centric preferred), Adobe Creative Suite, and collaboration tools like Miro. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • BA/BFA in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Ideal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.

The annual basesalary range for this position is from $80,000-$100,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Savage X Fenty expects topayfor the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
