Job description

  • Own an expansive list of accounts within a defined region
  • Find, create, facilitate, and close new business opportunities in assigned accounts
  • Represent and sell Top Hat’s full suite of products and approved partner products and services
  • Sell Top Hat’s digital textbook content and SaaS platform
  • Position and message Top Hat’s value proposition to professors or department leaders using varied sales techniques
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and internal product and marketing partners
  • Ensure a strong customer experience for professors and maximize revenue growth
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a sales role
  • Previous experience selling to professors highly preferred
  • Ability to identify, drive, and close large/complex deals
  • Experience prospecting effectively and running the full sales cycle, including cold calling, demos, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation and closing
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven environment
  • Ability to interpret and apply feedback/coaching quickly
  • Candidates preferred to be located in the Central US: Oklahoma, Kansas, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, North Dakota, or South Dakota
