What you will do

  • Lead,ย coachย and develop a team of Business Analysts and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuousย learningย and high performance.ย ย 

  • Implement Business Analysis and UAT best practices, methodologies,ย standardsย and governance to drive consistency,ย qualityย and continuous improvement across the practice.ย ย 

  • Manage resource assignment, teamย capacityย and workload distribution across multiple initiatives, ensuring resources are aligned to business priorities and delivery commitments.ย ย 

  • Lead work intake and prioritisation activities, balancing competing demands and making resourcing recommendations to support strategic and operationalย objectives.ย ย 

  • Oversee UAT activities across a portfolio of projects, including test planning, execution support, defect management, issueย resolutionย and business readiness, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and quality expectations.ย ย 

  • Partner with business, technology and operational leaders to understandย objectives, assess impacts,ย identifyย opportunitiesย and support successful delivery outcomes.ย ย 

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and providing recommendations, status updates, riskย assessmentsย and insights to support decision-making.ย ย 

  • Provide leadership in resolving complex business, delivery and testing issues,ย facilitatingย discussions, drivingย decisionsย and escalating risks asย appropriate.ย ย 

  • Support strategic initiatives across Insurance, Wealth, Workplace Solutions and Operations through effective business analysis, stakeholderย engagementย and delivery leadership.ย ย 

  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuousย improvementย and operational excellence byย identifyingย opportunities to enhance processes,ย toolsย and ways of working.ย 

What you will bring

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with a provenย track recordย in the financial services industry, preferably within insurance.ย ย 

  • Experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing activities, including test planning, execution, defectย managementย and business sign-off processes.ย ย 

  • Previousย people leadership experience with responsibility for coaching, mentoring, performance management, resourceย planningย and team development.ย ย 

  • Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities,ย allocatingย resourcesย and balancing workloads across multiple projects and initiatives.ย ย 

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation, including senior leaders.ย ย 

  • Proven ability to lead teams through ambiguity, navigate complex issues and drive practical, business-focused solutions.ย ย 

  • Excellent analytical,ย problem-solvingย and decision-making skills with the ability to assess impacts, evaluate options and provide sound recommendations.ย ย 

  • Outstanding communication and facilitation skills, including experience leading workshops, presenting to leadershipย teamsย and managing challenging stakeholder discussions.ย ย 

  • Passion for building high-performing teams and creating an environment where individuals can grow, contribute and be successful.ย ย 

  • University degree or equivalent education and experience. Experience working in Agile environments and certifications such as IIBA CBAP, CCBA, PMP or testing-related certifications are considered assets.ย 

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London, Toronto, Winnipeg.

The base salary for this position is between $75,500 - $125,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
