Job description

Delta Group Electronics is seeking a Test Operator based at its Rockledge, Florida facility. This position prepares and solders electronic components onto Printed Circuit Board (PCB's) according to specifications. You will work hands-on to assemble components, perform rework, and ensure all products meet strict quality and safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and consistent performance.
Hourly Range: 18.00 - 20.00 hourly, depending upon experience. Tests function of electronic assemblies, components, and parts according to established procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Connects electronic assembly, component, or part to test instrument, such as ohmmeter, voltmeter,ย ammeter, resistance bridge, or oscilloscope, or to automatic or computerized test equipment, and turns switch to activate test equipment.
  • Reads instrument dial or scope, or observes viewing screen, that indicates resistance, capacitance,ย continuity, and wave pattern or defect, such as short circuit or current leakage.
  • Compares instrument reading or monitor display with standard and rejects defective units.
  • Maintains department specific records.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping of assigned work area.
  • Works under close supervision from the Test Supervisor or Production Department Supervisor.
  • Is consistently at work and on time. Must adhere to company specified work schedule.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
