Territory Account Manager – Utility Infrastructure

Greenville, SC


We are working with a growing organization in the underground utility and infrastructure distribution space seeking a Territory Account Manager to support continued growth across the Upstate South Carolina market. This is a relationship-driven role focused on building business with municipalities, contractors, utility agencies, and engineering-related stakeholders throughout the region. It is a strong fit for someone who understands project-based selling and enjoys being in front of customers, identifying opportunities, and helping move work from early conversations through project execution.


Position Overview

The Territory Account Manager will be responsible for growing and managing business across the market by developing customer relationships, identifying project opportunities, and supporting ongoing activity tied to utility and public infrastructure work.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, contractors, utility agencies, and other key decision makers

• Identify new project opportunities and support long-term territory growth

• Assist customers with pricing, product recommendations, and project follow-up

• Stay active in the market through job site visits, customer meetings, and relationship development

• Coordinate with internal teams to support strong service and execution

• Maintain visibility into project pipeline, quotes, and active opportunities

• Help expand market presence through consistency, responsiveness, and strong customer support


Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in outside sales, account management, utility products, waterworks, or infrastructure-related markets

• Strong understanding of project-driven sales and customer development

• Experience working with municipalities, contractors, engineers, or utility-related accounts preferred

• Strong communication, follow-through, and relationship-building ability

• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a regional territory


Preferred Experience

• Underground utility, waterworks, or public infrastructure product knowledge
