Terrazzo and Marble Supply Company is a 100% Employee-Owned, industry-leading business with over 75 years of success. We are one of the largest distributors of natural stone slabs, poured-in-place terrazzo, and quartz surfacing. We believe that the cornerstone of our success is due to the teamwork and dedication of our employee-owners.


We are looking to add a Full-Time, Permanent Sample Producer for a Monday through Friday day shift. This role is an opportunity to learn a specialized trade and connect with influencers in the field.


Primary job responsibilities:

  • Pour, grind, and polish custom terrazzo samples.
  • Tinting quarts/gallons of epoxy.
  • Organizing and refilling chip containers.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto and from various containers, including trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish tasks.
  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
  • Participates in quality improvement efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:

What you'll need to get the job done:

  • One to two years related experience or equivalent.
  • Team-oriented mentality.
  • History of reliability.
  • Ability to work grinding and polishing machinery along with a variety of saws.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Must be relatively proficient with math skills.


Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
  • Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Climb a ladder to a height of at least 20 feet.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and balance regularly.
