Terminal Operator, LogisticsPBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF), one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Terminal Operator to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role is located at Martinez, CA.

JOB SUMMARY

The Terminal Operator works an alternate work schedule and is responsible for the safe and accurate operations at the Martinez Terminal.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complies with all local, state and federal regulatory standards for employee health, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Supports all quality programs through adherence of Company policies and procedures.
  • Participates in and completes all training programs in a timely manner.
  • Understand the process to loads trucks (including TMS), trouble shoot and maintain flawless operations.
  • Understand the process to safely offload trucks.
  • Understand the Vapor Recovery System associated with truck loading.
  • Monitor truck & trailer management and yard movements using (TMS)
  • Responsible for the accurate measurement and sampling of various products.
  • Responsible for ongoing communications and product management with MRC, PBF Commercial team, and others.
  • Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound movements.
  • Ability to operate and comply with environmental requirements and permit requirements.
  • Utilize computer software to perform various data input, product tracking and reporting, and company communication.
  • Understands work permitting process.
  • Conduct yard audits and inventory checks to ensure environmental and safety compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.
  • Completes maintenance items and notifies supervisor of equipment and maintenance problems.

  • Ability to work independently as well as with contractors and others

The salary range for this position is $32.37- $50.68. The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate's compensation. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases. In addition to salary, PBF offers a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
