About the Team:
The Tenant Management Operations team is part of UKG's Engineering organization and is responsible for the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of customer environments within a SaaS platform. The team ensures environments are deployed, integrated, and maintained in accordance with established standards and service-level agreements. It partners with internal teams and customers to support implementations, resolve environment-related issues, and improve operational processes through standardization and automation.
About the Role:
The Tenant Management Operations Manager is responsible for leading the team responsible for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management activities of customer tenant environments. This role ensures tenants are provisioned, refreshed, and decommissioned efficiently and accurately, while coordinating across Product, Engineering, Support, Security, Sales Ops, and Customer Success to deliver a reliable customer experience.
• Manage end-to-end tenant operations, including provisioning, refreshes, copies, migrations, resets, and decommissioning.
• Coordinate requests for customer tenants, ensuring timely execution and proper approvals.
• Manage growth and development of team members, establishing goals and engagement strategies.
• Monitor tenant health, availability, and configuration accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve tenant-related issues, escalating technical problems when needed.
• Maintain operational processes, runbooks, documentation, and service-level expectations.
• Identify process gaps and drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal/external team members on creation and implementation of new or improved processes
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and internal operational controls.
• Communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.
About You:
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, platform support, technical program management, systems administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing customer-facing or internal environments in a SaaS or enterprise software setting.
  • 3+ years of experience managing 5 or more employees
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams and operational workflows.
  • Previous experience engaging and working with cross-functional enterprise-level software development projects.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and operational requests while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to work directly with technical subject-matter experts and cross-functional enterprise teams.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to make sound decisions and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with tenant provisioning, environment management, or release operations.
  • Familiarity with HR, payroll, workforce management, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Experience improving operational processes through automation or tooling.
  • Knowledge of incident management, change management, and access governance.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications including PowerBI

The pay range for this position is $102,300 to $147,050. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
