Job description

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst with an active public trust clearance to assist a client in the Northern VA area. Note this position is contingent upon contract award.

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct cost estimates, IGCE development, price analysis, affordability assessments, and financial analysis.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on proposed acquisition approaches and methodologies.
  • Review and evaluate cost proposals, technical approaches, and corporate financial statements.
  • Apply proposal evaluation techniques to support the negotiation of fair and reasonable final prices.
  • Recommend and employ appropriate analytical methods and procedures based on the complexity and circumstances of each acquisition.
  • Provide expert recommendations and analytical support to facilitate sound acquisition and pricing decisions.
  • Support acquisition teams in evaluating pricing strategies, cost structures, and overall proposal compliance.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • U.S. Citizenship required with an active public trust clearance or higher.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related major.
  • 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience supporting Federal Government procurement and acquisition activities.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAR, agency acquisition regulations, source selection procedures, contract administration, and procurement lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting complex acquisitions, contract administration, market research, cost analysis, and procurement documentation development.
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • DAWIA or FAC-C certification required.
  • NCMA CFCM (Certified Federal Contract Manager) certification preferred.

Anticipated salary range is $75,000 - $85,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, clearance level, and relevant education, training and certifications.
