Order Entry Specialist

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining customer orders within SAP and other business systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring order accuracy, timely processing, and a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter customer orders into SAP and related systems.
  • Review order information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company requirements.
  • Verify product, pricing, shipping, and customer information before order release.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors to minimize order issues and delays.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to orders.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve order discrepancies.
  • Monitor order status and provide updates as needed.
  • Follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure data integrity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to order processing.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of data entry experience.
  • Previous experience in customer service, order management, or administrative support.
Work Environment:
  • Hybrid position requiring four (4) days per week in the Greenville office.
  • Fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and productivity.
  • Regular interaction with internal departments and business partners.
Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This hourly range is $16.00-$23.00/hour.
