Job description

SUMMARY The Voting Machine Technician programs and maintains the voting equipment and organizes the Voter Services Warehouse. Tasks include maintain, trouble shooting and repairing the voting equipment and organizing all the supplies needed for an Election. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintenance of voting machines.

Troubleshooting and repairing machines/knowledge of diagnostics. Programming voting machines in preparation for each election. Handle service calls on Election Day.

Assist in preparing, organizing and packing up Judge of Election; supplies for box pickup day. Organize documents and supplies for tabulation. Organize election supplies.

Participate in poll worker classes and voting machine demonstrations. Assist with posting notices for redistricting and polling location changes. Assist with charging voting equipment.

Comply with warehouse security measures. Work as a team to ensure all tasks are completed timely. All others tasks as assigned.

Contribute to a positive work environment. Must be willing and able to work overtime. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to tolerate warehouse conditions. Ability to lift heavy tubs; pushing and pulling of voting machines. High School Diploma or equivalency.

Electronic background desirable.
