Job description

Are you detail-oriented and ready to support democracy?Kelly is looking for a Vote-by-Mail Clerk to join the team and play a critical role in the vote-by-mail process for Orange County. This is a temporary assignment
Location: Orlando, FL 32806
Dates:  July 6th 2026– November 6th 2026
Pay Rate:  $15.00/hour
Schedule:  Monday-Friday from 8a-5p (lots of overtime as we get closer to the election) What You’ll Do:
  • Process vote-by-mail (VBM) ballot request forms, including batching, imaging, and completing data entry in SOE (Supervisor of Elections) systems
  • Research and resolve data entry errors
  • Retrieve reports and maintain organized files within SOE systems
  • Verify vote-by-mail signatures and prepare ballots for mailing, including stuffing and mailing VBM ballots
  • Operate high-speed sorter equipment for incoming and outgoing mail
  • Lift and handle mail trays weighing up to 10 lbs

  • Strong organizational and data entry skills at least 35-40wpm
  • Ability to research and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Comfortable working with repetitive processes and high-volume tasks
