Sr. Quality Engineer - Performance & Automation - VF

About the Role
Join our dynamic enterprise team as a Sr. Quality Engineer - Performance & Automation and play a critical role in driving quality and innovation across multiple high-impact technology programs. As a trusted technical contributor, you will design and implement automated and performance testing solutions that ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency of enterprise applications. You will partner with cross-functional teams, supporting key initiatives-beginning with the Work and Asset Management (WAM) portfolio-while expanding your skills in cutting-edge automation and performance engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, execution, and maintenance of performance, load, stress, scalability, endurance, and volume tests using NeoLoad and enterprise-standard tools.
- Analyze performance outcomes, identify bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, database, integration, and cloud environments, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Define performance baselines, success criteria, and support release readiness decisions.
- Develop, maintain, and expand automated test suites with Tricentis Tosca and related automation technologies.
- Drive automation coverage for business-critical workflows, regression, SAP, Salesforce, web, API, and integration testing.
- Enhance automation frameworks, reporting, and support CI/CD and continuous testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify automation opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless test execution and defect resolution.
- Develop and maintain reusable testing assets, scripts, and frameworks to optimize efficiency across multiple programs.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years in Quality Engineering supporting enterprise applications.
- 3+ years in test automation development using Tricentis Tosca or similar tools.
- 3+ years conducting performance testing and analysis with NeoLoad or comparable tools.
- Proven experience testing SAP, Salesforce, web, API, integration, and cloud-based applications.
- Strong expertise with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and distributed enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience designing, executing, and maintaining automated and performance testing assets in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, Salesforce Lightning, and enterprise integrations.
- Exposure to Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring solutions.
- Familiarity implementing performance testing within Agile and CI/CD delivery models.
- Experience supporting projects in a shared-services environment.
- Utility industry background is a plus.
