Job description

Job Description
Job Title: Salesforce Engineer Consultant (Technical Lead)
Location: Plano, Texas (Preferred) / Remote USA
Employment Type: Full-time
Build What Matters. Engineer at Scale. Deliver More-Together.
At mindZvue, Salesforce Technical Consultants are the technical backbone of our delivery practice. You will design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions for US clients across industries - from custom Apex architectures to complex LWC interfaces to platform integrations.
This is a hands-on engineering role within a consulting context: you will work directly with clients, translate requirements into code, and own the technical quality of what ships.
What You Will Do
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Flows, and Visualforce.
  • Build and maintain complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to Salesforce governor limits and best practices.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using SFDX, GitHub/Bitbucket, and deployment tools such as Copado or Gearset.
  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards across the delivery team.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce platform features including custom objects, security models, automation, and reporting.
  • Support data migration efforts including data mapping, transformation, and validation using Data Loader or similar tools.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure solution reliability and scalability.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to estimation, scoping, and technical proposals during pre-sales engagements.

Requirements
What We Are Looking For
Experience
  • 4-7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a consulting or SI delivery environment.
  • Proven delivery experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud implementations.
  • Experience working on at least 3-5 full-lifecycle Salesforce implementation projects.
Technical Skills
  • Strong expertise in Apex (classes, triggers, batch, queueable, schedulable, web services), Lightning Web Components, and Aura.
  • Deep understanding of SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce data model, governor limits, and bulkification patterns.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flows (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows, Autolaunched Flows) and declarative automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, Connected Apps, OAuth, Named Credentials, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tooling: SFDX, VS Code, Git, Copado/Gearset, and release management practices.
  • Strong foundation in web technologies: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field-level security.
  • Experience with Agentforce, Data Cloud, or OmniStudio is a significant plus.
Certifications (Required / Preferred)
  • Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Strongly Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer II
  • Nice to Have: Salesforce Administrator, JavaScript Developer I, Data Cloud Consultant, or any Architect-domain cert
Consulting & Communication
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and client leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to code quality and solution reliability.
  • Comfortable working in a distributed US-India delivery model with async collaboration.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple project workstreams with minimal supervision.
