Job description

Boll & Branch is seeking an Associate, Sourcing & Production to support the execution of supply chain activities across our ethical and sustainable production network. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence by maintaining accurate system data, facilitating cross-functional communication, and supporting the seamless execution of day-to-day production activities that bring our premium home textile products to market.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. They are highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and approach challenges with a solution-driven mindset.

Partnering closely with Product Development, Planning, Compliance, Logistics, Fulfillment, and Finance, this role is essential to delivering products on time while upholding the Company's uncompromising standards of quality, sustainability, and integrity.

This role reports to the Associate Manager of Sourcing & Production.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and issue purchase orders (POs), send timely recap emails to external & internal partners, and update all associated documentation and records.
  • Process and generate invoices in NetSuite for inventory and photo sample POs, ensuring data integrity for financial reconciliation.
  • Analyze and resolve PO discrepancies (shortages/overages) in collaboration with factory partners and cross-functional teams, escalating as needed to the Managers.
  • Photo Sample PO follow up: tracking ETAs in line to photo shoot dates, coordinating between vendor partners and assisting Boll & Branch Managers in recaps to Photo Team members.
  • Assist in creating POs and tracking ETAs for non saleable inventory needs: Free of Charge swatch program, retail installation materials, ad hoc requests.
  • Enter and maintain accurate and up-to-date data libraries within NetSuite and PLM: sample tracking, inventory item records, costing, landed cost variables, and preferred vendor information.
  • Support the Sourcing & Production team on ad hoc projects as business needs evolve.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sourcing, Production, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Internship experience in sourcing, production, procurement, supply chain, or operations strongly preferred, with demonstrated exposure to data and cost analysis.
  • Demonstrates advanced Excel proficiency with a proven track record of self-directed learning; must be comfortable independently executing complex functions (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas) to automate workflows and improve data integrity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Collaborative and solutions-oriented team player who demonstrates adaptability, flexibility, and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Comfortable with and eager to leverage machine learning or AI tools where applicable to enhance processes and decision-making.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Centric PLM is a plus.

The primary location for this role is Summit, NJ. We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have flexibility to work remotely. Currently we are operating under a hybrid model whereby all teams work in an office a minimum of two days per week (Tuesdays/Thursdays) and may be provided flexibility to work from home on other days. There may also be times when you're asked to work in our NYC office because it's in the best interest of our business or your team.

This position is structured as a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with an anticipated temporary assignment of approximately one year. At the end of the temporary period, continued employment and transition to a permanent role will be determined based on business needs and individual performance.

The annual base salary range for this role is $40,000 to $70,000 (new hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role). It is important to note that our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size, industry, and the market and are one part of the total rewards that we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, scope of the role, and internal peer benchmarking. In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible to be part of the Company's annual bonus program with a non-binding Company and individual performance-based target bonus.

This role is not eligible for relocation assistance. Additionally, Boll & Branch will not commence an immigration case or "sponsor" an individual for this position (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration).

The above is a comprehensive, but not exhaustive, description of requirements and expectations that may evolve over time based on business needs. You must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life/AD&D insurance
  • Commuter Benefits, HSA/FSA, STD/LTD, and Employee Assistance Program
  • Family-Planning Services, Gender-affirming healthcare, and Health Advocacy Program
  • Fitness Reimbursement Program, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and an Employee Discount
