Job description

Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist

Join our team at Jackson HealthPros as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you'll function as a member of a cardiac team, expertly assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You'll ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
  • Washington state license for CVOR Tech
  • COVID vaccine required

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Alternate schedule may be considered: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:15 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Shift days: Monday through Friday
  • Weekend requirement is covered by call time
  • Call requirement for techs: 8-9 call days per month
  • Call hours start at 9:00 PM and end at 6:30 AM the next morning
  • Weekend call includes 12-hour day call, 12-hour night call, and 24-hour backup call
  • Call response time: 30 minutes
  • Holiday coverage is required on a rotation
  • Floating may be required to the main operating room
  • Block scheduling is available
