In a timely and professional manner to perform all aspects of maintenance, preventative maintenance, monitor, troubleshoot and repair of all electrical elements in the facility ensuring safety, communication and efficiency. Ensures that all OSHA regulations are being met. Safeguard both employees and customers by maintaining the highest level of safety and sanitation.       • Education Required: Associates Degree or Certification in Electrical or Journeyman Status

      • Possess knowledge & experience in:
        • Electrical power distribution
        • PLC's
        • AC & DC drives (stand alone and distributed)
        • DCS - distributed control systems
        • Motion control systems
        • Motor control systems
        • Industrial instrumentation (not mandatory but a plus)
        • Control and communications networks
        • Hydraulic and pneumatic control systems (not mandatory but a plus)
        • Robotics (not mandatory, but a plus)

      To respond to process line or emergency calls to efficiently analyze, evaluate and direct repair of the electrical systems so that maximum safety and efficiency of the system is maintained. Perform lock out tag out procedures as required. Keep accurate documentation.

      Perform all equipment preventive maintenance as required by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and preventive maintenance as determined by management. To proactively perform the electrical maintenance to ensure its optimum performance. Maintain and organize equipment documentation parts lists, drawings, schematics, PLC programs, repair manuals and maintenance history.

      Inspect, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical production machinery. Troubleshoot and diagnose PLCs, control circuits, instrumentation, sensors, drives, industrial motors (AC/DC), VFDs and transformers. Must understand of all aspects of the Sorters, Case packers, ADR's, Baggers, Palletizer and Wrapper.

      Assist outside contractors as needed. Install new or revised equipment or devices. Forecast any probable future issues that may cause downtime. Train new employees as required. Participate in Six Sigma projects and carry out new innovative ways pertaining to maintenance to help reduce downtime, cost and waste.

      To maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. To attend and participate in meetings, training and continuing education programs internally or externally as deemed appropriate by management. Notify the Lead Electrical Technician, Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Engineering Manager of daily performance and/or issues.
