This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Asst Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner.

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience:For the
GS-14, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the
GS-13 grade level in the Federal service
. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Performing independent oversight and monitoring of housing counseling programs or similar federal grant programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, reviewing performance, and identifying and resolving deficiencies; AND
- Reviewing and evaluated program data, reports, and corrective action plans to assess performance, support compliance efforts, and contribute to meeting organizational goals and timelines; AND
- Providing technical guidance and analysis on program policies and procedures, supporting audits, risk assessments, and program improvements based on identified trends and findings.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
