Position Overview - Housekeeping Supervisor
We are looking for those who celebrate culture, humor, wit, thoughtful and attentive service and team orientation. You will need to have the ability to create a motivating work environment driving our Whatever It Takes attitude and have a strong passion for excellence and guest service. The ideal candidate will strive to continuously evolve and improve their performance in order to provide a Four Diamond Level of service for all guests each and every day.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare show rooms and VIP rooms.
  • Communicate with shift housekeepers of rooms to be cleaned and special requests.
  • Follow up with front office coordinator on room assignments.
  • Update due outs and DND on I-touch.
  • Inspect rooms to verify vacant ready or occupied clean status.
  • Inspect Lobby/Public area and report cleaning issues using HotSos.
  • Report repairs and maintenance issues to Engineering Department using HotSos.
  • Keep inventory of housekeeping supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of department.
  • Organize and keep track of lost and found inventory.
  • Deliver supplies and keys to room attendants when needed.
  • Assist in all areas of housekeeping when needed.
  • Initiate and complete special projects requested by the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Manager.
  • Initiate and monitor shift checklists for proper completion of tasks.
  • Exemplify the hotel's Standard Code of Conduct and all other regulations established by management and Employee Handbook.
  • Support theWit training programs and encourage ongoing development for employees.
  • Lead theWit experience as instructed by the hotel leaders.

Qualifications
  • Communicate in the primary language of the hotel. Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus
  • Show off the proper uniform/dress at all times and be well groomed.
  • Be flexible since you are running a 24/7 hotel operation.
  • Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends/weekdays, holidays, and rotating shifts.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50 pounds or more.

Work Environment:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and sharp equipment
  • Ability to safely use kitchen tools, knives, and commercial food preparation equipment

Compensation:
$27.00 per hour.
