**No call, no weekends or holidays**

The Naperville ASTC is a brand new cardiac cath facility located in north Naperville. This brand new facility is the first cardiac ASTC in Advocate Midwest. This location features state of the art imaging and cardiology equipment that caters to low acuity outpatients in order for them to receive world class interventional cardiac care in a convenient outpatient setting that is patient centered

Pay Range

$35.50 - $53.25

Accountabilities:

Maintain complete documentation of cardiovascular procedures
Participate in in-services, continuing education, and workshops to remain abreast of new procedures and current technologies.
Accountable for the maintenance of quality control in all areas of the lab
Provide a secure and safe environment for patients and staff maintaining constant awareness of safety hazards
Assistance with new staff orientation within the department
Act as a role model within the department serving as a resource person for all clinical activities
Assisting in the development of new operating procedures

Position Requirements:

  • Requires 2 or more years cardiac Cath lab experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PTCA with an AAS in RTR. or a minimum of 5 years' experience as RTR preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 CEU hours per year.
  • This position will need to recognize the needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients treated, i.e., normal patterns of adolescent behavior and look for signs of normal aging prior experience with various age groups is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate patient and unit needs.
  • The ability to function in a high stress environment, lift and
    move heavy patients and equipment, stand for long periods of time, wearing lead apron (approx. 18 lbs.).
  • Current License in the state of IL as a RT
  • ACLS
  • No Call required. No weekends or holidays.
