Job description

Step into a vital imaging role where your expertise in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT technology contributes directly to patient care and diagnostic excellence. This contract opportunity offers a structured schedule and is designed for highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologists who are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in their field.
Schedule:

  • Monday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Schedule may be adjusted as needed by site leadership)
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience with both PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures required
  • Florida State License CRT in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography (must be current)
  • Certifications required: CNMT (NMTCB), CRT, NUC_Tech (ARRT), RTCT (ARRT), RTMR (ARRT), RTR (ARRT)
  • Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification is mandatory
  • ARRT registration in one of the following specialties: RT(R), RT(CT), RT(MR)
  • Ability to furnish all required certifications and either a college diploma or transcripts at the time of submission
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging studies
  • Ensure safety protocols and patient comfort before, during, and after imaging procedures
  • Accurately document imaging results and maintain thorough records per regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with other imaging and medical professionals to ensure optimal care delivery
  • Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and quality improvement guidelines

$2,606 - $2,747/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
