Job description

Are you looking to join an HR team in a global company to continue to build your experience? If so, this could be a fantastic role for you!

We are hiring a temporary HR Coordinator for a 12-month assignment. You are expected to work from Hasbro's office in Pawtucket, RI for a minimum of three days (Tuesday-Thursday) per week. Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, you will be expected to work from Hasbro's office in Boston, MA for a minimum of three days (Tuesday-Thursday) per week. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating HR policies and processes across all business units within Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast.

A day in the life:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all topics and processes related to Hasbro and Wizards new hires. Ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery to employees within these groups.
  • Manage new-hire onboarding processes.
  • Manage offboarding processes.
    Support the implementation of HR policies and processes, ensuring they are well-understood and correctly applied across Hasbro and Wizards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of local (various states) employment legislation and ensure company policy adherence, assisting with the update and dissemination of relevant information.
  • Create and maintain various files, spreadsheets, and/or Employee Central query reports to accommodate employee recordkeeping needs, trigger future actions, and ensure completeness of data and accuracy of organization charts, employee data reports, salary plan roll-ups, etc.
  • Organize and track documentation associated with the annual performance review process.

What you'll bring:

  • Associate's degree; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of HR experience.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Powerpoint, and/or SAP.
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating multiple HR projects in a high volume, dynamic business environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn and contribute to team success.

This is a temporary position through a third-party temporary agency. You will be an employee of the temporary agency, not Hasbro.

Pay Range Start: $21.64
Pay Range End: $31.25
