Position Qualification
Position Summary
The WANG Lab at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Department of Neurological Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will contribute to developing and/or applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and image segmentation and/or data science-based methods to address cutting-edge topics, including but not limited to, disease diagnosis/prognosis, biomarkers identification and treatment prediction, etc.
Required Qualifications:
  • A PhD by time of hiring in a relevant field. Relevant fields include (but are not limited to) Computer Science, statistics, mathematics, automation, informatics, and Engineering.
  • Experience in deep learning, machine learning and medical imaging processing
  • Programming experience: Python, MATLAB, SPSS, Shell.
  • Experience in working with Linux workstation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills and ability to self-direct work.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
