Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions for clients, focusing on their mental health needs and goals.
• Developing personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and client feedback.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide clients through challenges related to stress, grief, and mental health disorders.
• Regularly monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population primarily consists of students and their families, many of whom are facing low-acuity mental health challenges. All clients are pre-screened to ensure their suitability for remote counseling. This position requires a touch of creativity, as you will engage with youthful clients, often utilizing various interactive modalities, including art therapy or solution-focused techniques, to enhance their experience.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid state-issued license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet for conducting remote sessions.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will also have:

• Experience in school-based counseling or working with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote communication tools.
• Training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or similar therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually based on full-time hours and experience. Full-time counselors (30+ hours per week) are also eligible for a monthly insurance stipend, supporting your health and wellness as you care for others.
