We are currently seeking a Program Manager---Managed Services to join our team in Rockville, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).
Job Summary:
NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support one of the nation's premier biomedical research organizations. This role supports the delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure services that enable research and mission operations across a complex, multi-platform environment. As the Program Manager for Platform Hosting, you will provide senior leadership and overall program execution oversight across enterprise hosting services spanning on-premise and cloud platforms. You will play a critical role in ensuring infrastructure services are delivered reliably, securely, on schedule, and in alignment with mission priorities, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
Job Duties:
Provide overall program leadership and execution oversight for Platform Hosting services, serving as the primary interface with government leadership for this scope.
  • Guide planning, execution, and integration of current and future technologies supporting enterprise and platform hosting environments.
  • Oversee the Enterprise and Platform Hosting delivery teams, ensuring coordinated execution across the full hosting stack, including:
    • Virtualization and server platforms
    • Application and database hosting
    • Storage and backup services
    • Cloud and hybrid hosting environments
  • Manage program governance activities specific to Platform Hosting, including schedule management, risk and issue tracking, dependency management, and quality assurance.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, integrated schedules, staffing plans, and resource forecasts for Platform Hosting services.
  • Oversee financial management for the Platform Hosting scope, including budget tracking, cost control, forecasting, and coordination with contracts and finance teams.
  • Lead routine program reviews, status meetings, and executive briefings focused on Platform Hosting performance, risks, issues, and corrective actions.
  • Support contract administration activities for the Platform Hosting scope, including compliance with contract requirements, service level agreements, and reporting obligations.
  • Provide managerial and administrative direction for Platform Hosting initiatives, including requirements coordination, change management, and service transition activities.
  • Advise leadership on Platform Hosting modernization opportunities, operational improvements, and lifecycle management priorities.
  • Support disaster recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning and testing related to Platform Hosting services.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction within the Platform Hosting environment.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, or four (4) additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive IT experience supporting US Federal Government clients.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing or supporting enterprise-scale IT hosting environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with enterprise or platform hosting services in on-premise, cloud, or hybrid environments.
  • ITIL 4 Managing Professional Certification or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
  • PMP certified
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Must live within 60 miles of the client site in Rockville, MD.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in environments applying PMI principles and supporting Lean IT, Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or research-focused hosting environments.
  • Experience supporting Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning and execution.
  • Additional certifications such as ITIL 4 Practice Manager or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including team building, performance management, and talent development.
  • Proven program and project management skills, including planning, budgeting, resource coordination, and execution oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior government and executive leadership.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $157,492 - $262,488. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
