Job description

Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to an innovative, industry leading company? InterMetro Industries is seeking an Product Manager to join our Product Management Department.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead our Enclosed Storage and Healthcare Cart product lines, bringing fresh vision to products used every day in clinical and industrial settings. In this role, you’ll own strategy, roadmap, and execution for highvisibility solutions that make our customers more organized, efficient, and productive.  This is a career role for an individual interested in Product Management and a key position within the Corporation.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Sets Vision for products through collaboration with Corporate Leadership
2. Establishes strategies in alignment with product category to achieve product vision
3. Develops plans to execute product strategies
4. Develops product roadmap
5. Drives product innovation within the product offering
6. Develops new product development through the Corporate Stage Gate Process
7. Manages Product Lines Assigned
8. Becomes a Product Expert
9. Sets pricing for assigned product lines
10. Executes product lifecycle planning activity for assigned product lines (NPD thru EOL)
11. Collaborates with Marketing, Sales, and Brand Management on product marketing and promotion efforts
12. Trains Sales, Channel, and End Users on Product Lines Assigned
13. Attends Trade Shows, Represents Products Assigned, and Supports Trade Show Strategy
14. Gathers Data and Conducts Product Line Analysis (Sales, Profits, Usage, Market, Customer)
15. Gathers market data and conducts market analysis
16. Gathers and analyses competitive information and data
17. Collaborates on product quoting setting
18. Responsible for Achievement of Product Line Profit, Quality, and availability goals
19. Supports Customer Service, Sales, and Customers with Product and Application Knowledge
20. Assists in planning, monitoring, and/or managing budget in functional area of department.
21. Possesses knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics. Contributes to a workplace environment that is conducive to the maintenance of the Code. Remains alert and sensitive to situations that could result in actions by an employee that are illegal, unethical, in violation of the Code or the policies and procedures that support the Code. Reports actual or perceived violations of the Code or Company policies and procedures for appropriate action.
22. Other duties, as assigned.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing, product management, engineering or other relevant role
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business or other relevant major (Engineering and/or MBA degrees preferred)
Additional preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas (experience is preferred, but not required):
- New Product Development Stage Gate Methodology
- Customer workflow field research (“hassle mapping”/ethnographic research)
- Product positioning and roadmap development
- Industry-specific work experience (i.e., Commercial, Foodservice, Healthcare)
