Job description

Temporary Quality Control Inspector
Location: Tigard, OR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $23-$25 per hour
Assignment Length: Temporary position through December 2026

A leading communications technology manufacturer in Tigard is looking for a Temporary Quality Control Inspector to join their team through the end of December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys hands-on inspection work, and is committed to maintaining high quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
What you're doing as a Quality Control Inspector: 
  • Inspect parts, components, and materials before assembly and production
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, pin gauges, height gauges, thread gauges, and other measuring tools
  • Read and follow drawings, work instructions, and inspection criteria
  • Accurately document inspection results using computer systems and inspection software
  • Identify and communicate quality concerns or nonconforming materials
Qualifications for Quality Control Inspector: 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Experience using measurement tools and inspection equipment
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Windows
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
