Overview

CVP seeks a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to lead large-scale healthcare transformation programs enhancing care delivery for Veterans across VA medical centers nationwide. The Program Manager will oversee complex, healthcare initiatives, managing cross-functional teams to implement integrated healthcare solutions that directly improve Veterans' access to quality care. This role requires driving strategic program execution across multiple VA facilities, coordinating with clinical leadership, IT teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of healthcare transformation projects. The position focuses on implementing disciplined program management processes, optimizing healthcare workflows, and driving measurable improvements in Veterans' healthcare outcomes while managing substantial budgets and complex project portfolios within the federal healthcare environment.


Responsibilities

  • Lead large integrated healthcare program management initiatives
  • Implement disciplined program management processes and best practices
  • Perform independent analysis on program performance with cost/schedule/performance monitoring
  • Apply performance measurement knowledge to performance reporting and program governance
  • Manage program risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support senior leadership decision boards and program governance processes
  • Develop program management artifacts (charters, project plans, performance dashboards)

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare IT program management
  • PMP certification required
  • Experience leading large integrated healthcare program management initiatives
  • Knowledge of Federal performance measurement frameworks
  • Experience with disciplined program management processes
  • Strong risk management and performance monitoring capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Public Trust Clearance
  • Ability to work without sponsorship in the US indefinitely
