Student Research Assistant - Entomology

Undergraduate Student Research Assistant position in the Fruit and Vegetable Entomology Lab at Ohio State University (Wooster, OH) This is a part-time (up to 38 hrs./wk.) position. Start date is May 2026; ending in summer/fall 2026. Individuals will assist on a broad selection of pest management projects including 1) vegetable pest management, 2) pollinator health, and 3) invasive species monitoring.
Qualifications:
• Interest in agricultural science, especially pest management
• Must have a driver's license and be able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain organized in a variety of environments
• Previous experience conducting lab or field research is preferable but not required
Students will be permitted to work 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.
This position is located in Wooster, Ohio on The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences campus.
