Summary:
 
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for accurately processing customer orders and preparing products for shipment. The role includes receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and following standard operating procedures, including hazardous-material documentation when required. The position requires dependability, accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders daily to meet customer expectations.
  • Work in receiving, picking, packing, and/or shipping operations.
  • Pick products accurately from warehouse locations.
  • Pack and prepare products for shipment.
  • Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures.
  • Complete required hazardous-material documentation.
  • Ensure inventory is stored properly and securely.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks, including order pickers.
  • Use computers and scanning equipment as required.
  • Work effectively with team members to maintain a positive and productive environment.
  • Follow established safety procedures and warehouse processes.
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of general warehouse experience.
  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks, particularly order pickers.
  • Experience handling hazardous materials or chemicals is a plus.
  • Experience using computers and scanning equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to stand and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk, stoop, bend, and reach frequently.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
