Job description

BASIC PURPOSE:

The ERP Testing & Billing Analyst supports the Oracle ERP implementation with a focused emphasis on UAT and Parallel Testing for business billing scenarios, and partners with Billing, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Operations, IT, and ERP project resources to document business scenarios, execute test scripts, validate billing outputs, identify defects, support issue resolution, and help ensure business readiness for go-live.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Business Scenario Development: Partner with Billing, AR, Payroll, Operations, and ERP workstream leads to identify, document, and maintain end-to-end billing scenarios required for UAT and Parallel Testing.
  • UAT Test Execution: Execute assigned UAT test scripts, document results, capture supporting evidence, and confirm that Oracle ERP functionality supports defined business requirements and billing outcomes.
  • Parallel Testing Support: Support Parallel Testing by validating billing transactions, comparing expected results to Oracle ERP outputs, researching discrepancies, and escalating variances for resolution.
  • Billing Validation: Review billing calculations, customer invoice outputs, contract/project billing scenarios, adjustments, and downstream impacts to AR and reporting to confirm accuracy and completeness.
  • Defect Identification and Tracking: Document testing defects clearly, including scenario details, evidence, expected results, actual results, business impact, and retest outcomes in the appropriate project tracking tools.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with functional consultants, IT, project managers, business SMEs, and production billing leaders to resolve testing issues and support business sign-off activities.
  • Process Documentation: Assist with documenting future-state billing processes, job aids, testing evidence, issue-resolution notes, and business readiness materials for the production Billing organization.
  • Reporting and Status Updates: Provide timely updates on assigned testing activities, risks, open defects, retesting progress, and business readiness concerns.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, information technology, healthcare administration, or a related field is desired.
  • 2+ years of billing, revenue operations, ERP, finance operations, project accounting, staffing operations, or related business process experience is desired.
  • Experience supporting UAT, Parallel Testing, system implementation, billing validation, or operational readiness activities is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of billing processes, customer invoicing, transaction validation, adjustments, reconciliations, and downstream AR impacts are preferred.
  • Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion, PPM, Contracts, or Project Billing exposure is a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review detailed billing outputs, identify variances, research root causes, and document findings clearly.
  • Proficiency with Excel and comfort working with testing trackers, issue logs, shared files, and project management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate business issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organization, diligence, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple testing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Familiarity with the staffing industry, preferably within the healthcare sector, is highly desirable.
