Position: Temporary Operations Specialist Department: Deposit Operations Location: Wichita, KS (On-Site) Job Type: Hourly (Temporary) We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Operations Assistant to support our daily banking operations. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, and comfortable working with transactional systems in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy problem‑solving, value accuracy, and want to contribute to a team that ensures smooth and compliant deposit operations, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities and Expectations Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Support * Process and complete account verifications and maintain appropriate logs * Handle deposit account related maintenance task * Provide backup support for additional Deposit Services as needed * Assist bank staff and customers with deposit-related questions or issues Compliance, Regulations & Internal Controls * Follow established Deposit Services policies and procedures * Adhere to internal control standards and documentation requirements * Comply with all bank policies and regulatory responsibilities, including but not limited to: * Business Ethics and Conduct * Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) * Information Security standards * Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) requirements Required Skills & Education Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent required; banking or deposit operations experience preferred * Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication with internal teams and customers * Proficiency with computer systems, especially Windows-based applications * High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to maintain confidentiality * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Who We Are Equity Bank, a full-service, $7.9 billion community bank, is based in Wichita, Kansas, with over 80 bank offices throughout Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
