WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
We're looking for a Lead Graphic Designer with exceptional craft and a distinct point of view to lead and elevate women's product expression. This role brings a modern sensibility for women's product, a strong understanding of culture and style, and the ability to translate insights into compelling, product-relevant graphics. This person moves fluidly between concept and execution-setting direction, staying hands-on, and elevating the work of others through clear thinking, strong taste, and collaborative leadership.
The ideal candidate understands how graphics live on product-not just in campaigns-and balances trend, brand voice, and consumer relevance. This role thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to evolving briefs, and leads creative discussions across a diverse, cross-functional team.
Key Competencies:
  • Delivers results in a fast-paced environment
  • Embraces and leads change
  • Makes sound decisions and thinks strategically
  • Leads and influences others with clarity and intent
  • Communicates and presents at a high level
  • Brings deep expertise in Graphic Design, Typography and Illustration
  • Cultivates innovation through exploration and craft
  • Builds strong collaboration with cross-functional partners

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role works within the Nike Sportswear Graphics team and women's apparel design team, collaborating closely with product, color, materials, development, merchandising, and cross-functional design partners. The team connects seasonal business priorities to elevated graphic storytelling, shaping product at the intersection of sport, style, and culture.
The role leverages graphics, typography, illustration, color, and trim to deliver an elevated, consumer-relevant brand point of view in the marketplace through strategic vision, design direction, storytelling, and editing. In addition, this person mentors designers, partners with key collaborators, and operates effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role makes informed design and application decisions with speed and precision while keeping costing targets in mind.
Key qualifications include:
  • To be considered, you must submit a creative design portfolio. Please provide website links or attach PDF files when you apply.
  • Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • 7+ years of product graphics experience
  • Experience in fashion, sportswear, streetwear, or apparel preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in graphic design, illustration and typography
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging design trends and visual culture
  • Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills; able to clearly present design intent to internal and external audiences
  • Passion for design craft, innovation, graphic applications, prints, processes and tools
  • Solid knowledge of apparel product creation and building accurate tech packs
  • Proficient in Adobe CC and comfortable working within new and emerging digital spaces
  • Ability to embrace diverse perspectives while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team environment

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will lead and create graphic narratives for Nike Sportswear women's apparel, translating product and brand direction into compelling, consumer-relevant design. You will work across concept and execution to elevate creative output while partnering with cross-functional teams to bring product stories to life.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead the development of graphic concepts that feel modern, elevated, and distinct within the women's space
  • Translate seasonal and business priorities into clear, compelling graphic storytelling
  • Collaborate with product, color, materials, and development teams to ensure graphics resolve effectively on product
  • Contribute both strategically and hands-on, from early concept through final execution
  • Influence and elevate the work of others through strong creative leadership and collaboration
  • Drive consistency and clarity across briefs, concepts, and final deliverables
  • Navigate ambiguity and evolving direction while maintaining a high standard of craft and design excellence
