POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Coach will report to the 10 Squared Director of Coaching. The Senior Coach will maintain day-to-day, week-to-week contact with their designated 10 Squared members, acting as the primary liaison between program members and the 10 Squared specialist team. Senior Coaches will serve to manage, monitor and integrate all elements of member programs, and maintain an elite level of customer service in doing so.
The routine duties of our Senior Coaches include the following:
  • Attend and conduct bi-annual in-person member assessments with the specialist team
  • Provide week to week programming for strength, mobility and cardio-respiratory conditioning
  • Conduct routine contact with members via various messaging channels and scheduled video calls
  • Data monitoring, accountability and tracking via selected devices and software platforms
  • Initiate and implement program adaptations and troubleshooting with specialist input
  • Maintain frequent internal and client-facing reports
  • Thoughtfully mediate communication channels between members and other 10 Squared specialists
  • Continuing Education and Training

Our VIP Members will look to the Senior Coach for daily accountability and support; a substantial level of maturity and emotional intelligence is essential. The Senior Coach will be responsible for motivating and building daily habits, behavior change and time management within the personal and professional lives of our members.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Recognized tertiary qualifications in exercise science, sports physiology, strength and conditioning, kinesiology or equivalent fields
  • A minimum of three years of proven professional experience in a related role
  • Located in (or open to imminent relocation to) Austin, TX

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Five or more years proven professional experience in a related role
  • Knowledge of DNS, PRI, and/or FRC principles
  • Knowledge and experience conducting and/or analyzing CPET testing
  • Experience using force plates, motion capture camera systems and other data collection devices
  • Knowledge and experience conducting and/or analyzing DEXA scans
  • Significant remote/video coaching experience
  • Demonstrated expertise coaching in elite sport and/or the general population are equally valuable

Candidates must possess a well-developed ability to read professional and interpersonal circumstances, to problem solve creatively, to work independently and efficiently, and to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
10 Squared programs will be delivered (predominantly on a remote basis) from our new physical performance center in Austin, Texas, and candidates for this Coaching role must relocate to, or reside within, the Austin area.
SALARY
The annual base salary range for this role is between $110,000 and $130,000, with a meaningful annual performance bonus also applicable. Many factors contribute to the decision-making process around our employment offers, including external market benchmark data, skill and experience level, as well as performance and evaluation through the interview process.
