Job description

Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile Integration & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help us modernize our middleware landscape while driving cloud-native initiatives. You will be the bridge between our legacy IBM ecosystem and our AWS cloud environment, ensuring seamless data flow, robust security, and high-performance infrastructure. The ideal candidate isn't just a coder; they are a communicator who can translate complex technical challenges into clear business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Architect and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS (Serverless, Lambda, RDS, EC2) and manage infrastructure via Terraform (IaC).
Integration Excellence: Manage and optimize messaging middleware, specifically IBM ACE/WebSphere MQ and MFT, while integrating them with AWS API Gateway and modern APIs.
Development: Build and support applications using NodeJS, Python, or Java, ensuring clean handling of JSON/XML data formats.
Observability: Design comprehensive monitoring dashboards and alerting strategies to ensure system health and log visibility.
Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, translating business requirements into actionable technical designs while identifying implementation risks.
Communication: Serve as the technical translator-explaining complex architectural decisions to non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Technical Core:
Proven experience with IBM ACE/WebSphere MQ and messaging-based middleware.
Deep hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (Serverless, RDS, EC2, Migration services).
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Solid coding foundation in NodeJS, Python, or Java.
