This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career technology professional to gain hands-on experience in application development, business process automation, data analytics, and AI-powered solutions while contributing to critical modernization initiatives. The selected candidate will work alongside experienced developers and business professionals, gaining exposure to enterprise software development best practices while receiving mentorship and guidance.

Responsibilities will include developing business applications, automated workflows, reports, dashboards, and collaboration tools using Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, and Power Automate. This position will play a key role in improving business processes, automating repetitive tasks, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the successful implementation of OCERS' new Pension Administration System. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Application Development Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of business applications supporting OCERS operations. Develop enhancements to existing applications and participate in new application development projects. Write, test, and document application code following established development standards.

Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities. 2. Business Process Automation Develop automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.

Create automation solutions that eliminate repetitive manual processes. Assist in developing Copilot Studio solutions, AI-assisted workflows, and business tools that enhance productivity, knowledge sharing, and decision-making. Assist in developing and testing automation solutions that improve business processes.

Troubleshoot and improve existing automation solutions. 3. Reporting and Business Intelligence Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.

Create data visualizations that support operational and management decision making. Assist with data validation and report testing. Work with business users to understand reporting requirements.

4. SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Solutions Develop and maintain SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and forms. Support Microsoft Teams collaboration solutions.

Assist with document management and workflow integration. Develop Power Apps solutions that integrate with SharePoint and Microsoft 365. 5.

PAS Implementation Support Support the implementation of the new Pension Administration System. Assist with system testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing. Develop reports and automation supporting PAS conversion activities.

Assist project teams in documenting, tracking, and resolving technical issues during PAS implementation. Participate in documentation and knowledge transfer activities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum qualifications required for entry into the classification: Education and/or Experience: Two (2) years of directly related experience that demonstrates the competencies and attributes listed above; OR Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information systems or a closely related field that has provided the candidate with a sound conceptual understanding of information technology concepts.
