Cottage Health seeks a Manager, IT Applications for its CH Administration department, responsible for managing analyst positions for IT applications teams. May include Beaker, Orders, Clin doc, OpTime, Radiant, Cupid, Beacon, Analytics, Billing, HIM, ADT, Cadence, and other application analysts. Assures that the implementation, maintenance, full-lifecycle support, and upgrading of these applications are consistent with Cottage Health policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring that analysts complete and maintain Epic application certification and are knowledgeable of Cottage Health workflows, policies, procedures, and business operations. Is the primary liaison with operational counterparts in clinical and business areas. Serves/Leads on councils and committees such as Clinical Operations, Operations Governance, and others as needed.

Education:

  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in nursing, information technology, allied health professions, business or related field. The equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in clinical information applications and systems in health care may be substituted for a degree.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Preferred: Allied health professional licensure, one or more certifications in Epic Clinical Applications related to area of management. IT Infrastructure License (ITIL) certification obtained within 6 months.

Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum: Depth of knowledge around a variety of workflows in healthcare setting and clinical roles and how they relate to information technology. Intermediate user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with project plans, project scope, developing and maintaining issues lists, identifying and mitigating project risks, assigning tasks and monitoring progress via status reports. Ability to conduct meetings with varying levels of attendees including C-suite and communicating the outcomes to the correct audiences.
  • Preferred: Experience with SharePoint and visio.

Years of Related Work Experience:

  • Minimum: 2 years of Clinical Healthcare IT work experience.
  • Preferred: Clinical healthcare work experience. 2 years leading teams and managing IT projects in a health care environment. 5 years clinical IT healthcare advanced work. Epic full-life cycle implementation experience.
