$14.75-$18.31/hour, credit given for experience, plus shift differential and holiday pay. Elm Crest Senior Living Community is hiring a full-time evening Medication Technician, 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.

What You'll Do
  • Assist residents with medication administration and limited topical treatments under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director
  • Support activities of daily living according to individualized care plans
  • Monitor residents and report changes in condition to clinical staff
  • Support residents' physical, emotional, and mental well-being
  • Follow community policies, procedures, and state medication management requirements

What You'll Need
Required:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Iowa Medication Manager Certification or Iowa Certified Medication Aide certification
  • Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

Preferred:
  • 1 year of healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care experience - Elm Crest will train the right candidate who holds the required certification but has less experience
  • Experience administering medications in a senior living setting
