MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our USMC contract out of Quantico, VA.

MANTECH is responsible for assisting our government customer and ensuring that material solutions developed or acquired by Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) are system engineered, integrated, interoperable, and certified to provide the warfighter with equipment required to accomplish their mission. To do that, MANTECH assists our customer to conduct the detailed systems engineering analysis, establishes technical policies and guidance across the Command, and manage the technical investigation and distributed planning required to deliver world class Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) systems capabilities to the warfighter.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support MBSE-related technical and strategy discussions.

  • Develop Digital Engineering Models and Marine Corps compliant systems engineering artifacts with Senior Engineer oversight.

  • Participate in multiple systems engineering projects and accurately represent stakeholder interests

  • Consolidate and report project status updates and issues.

  • Provide technical support to MBSE development projects, including communicating Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events.

  • Prepare and maintain technical systems or program documentation, integrated master schedules, comment resolution matrices, presentations, and training material.

  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in MBSE meetings and events

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific, Engineering, or Technical area and at least 4 years of related MBSE or Digital Engineering experience. An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • Experience with Cameo System of Systems Architect or other MBSE tools

  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: UML, SysML, UAF, UPDM, BPMN, IDEF

  • Superior written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and influence others to achieve desired results for the project.

  • Capable of working collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have knowledge of Marine Corps Systems Engineering Processes, including the relationship between MCSC and DC, CD&I.

  • Familiarity with the MCSC Acquisition Guidebook.

  • Knowledge of Marine Corps concepts, practices, procedures, systems and interfaces

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication.
