Do you have warehouse experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Manufacturing Operator positions in Knoxville, TN.
   
Details for Manufacturing Operator Position:
  • $17 / Hour
  1. Pay increase upon transition to full-time status with client, including benefits, 401(k), and paid time off
  2. 2nd shift-3:00pm-11:00pm
  3. Must train on 1st shift-7am-3pm 
  4. Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Manufacturing Operator Position:
  • Operate machines in a temperature-controlled environment following procedures, quality standards, and safety policies
  • Stack and organize material for machine insertion as primary function
  • Pull required inventory for specific products
  • Set up and change over machines when needed
  • Assist with maintenance and basic troubleshooting after training
  • Maintain productivity while completing paperwork and accuracy checks
  • Log data and review SPC in computer database
  • Inspect finished product before releasing to production
  • Operate electric pallet jacks safely (training provided)
  • Once established, train new hires
  • Completes any other related tasks as needed
 
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Manufacturing Operator Position:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with production manufacturing experience desired and mechanical/maintenance experience considered a plus
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Adaptable in dynamic, results-driven settings
  • Mechanically inclined or willing to learn machine repair
  • Pass near-vision (20/25) and color vision tests
  • Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Wear PPE as required (such as face shield, hearing protection, personal alert fob - must be worn (signed in and out each shift).
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
