Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill Coil Expander with a Manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ. The client specializes in custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for OEM and replacement markets.
Job Title: Coil Expander
Pay Rate: $19-$21/hour
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift - 5:30AM - 1:00PM, Occasionally on Saturdays
This is a Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Coil Expander Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical expanders to expand tubes for radiator coil assemblies.
  • Inspect expanded tubes for accuracy and quality, ensuring proper fit and alignment within coil assemblies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of expander equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Interpret manufacturing drawings and technical specifications to ensure precision and compliance with product requirements.

Coil Expander Requirements:
โ€ข Previous experience operating tube expanders or similar manufacturing equipment in a production environment (experience in radiator coil manufacturing is a plus).
โ€ข Ability to stand for extended periods and lift components weighing up to 60lbs.
โ€ข Proficiency in using measuring tools, with the ability to pass a tape measure test.
โ€ข Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
