Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Co-Director to oversee and manage all production processes at our Tolleson, AZ manufacturing facility.
This leadership role is critical in ensuring products are manufactured on schedule, meet the highest quality standards, and align with established cost and safety objectives. The ideal candidate will foster collaboration across departments to drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and a positive workplace culture that supports both people and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuously evaluate capacity forecasts to anticipate and address infrastructure needs, ensuring readiness for growth and operational demands.
  • Partner with department managers to plan, coordinate, and execute plant operations, setting clear objectives and priorities to meet production goals efficiently.
  • Develop, manage, and control plant budgets and profit plans. Lead cost-reduction and process-improvement initiatives that enhance profitability and productivity.
  • Maintain effective control systems for capital expenditures, operating expenses, staffing, inventory, and wages to support financial sustainability.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate plant management and staff, ensuring professional development and accountability. Work with Human Resources to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and to promote a safe, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee the introduction of new products and formulations from R&D, ensuring smooth transition to large-scale production.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and optimized for safety, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor production, quality, and efficiency. Manage and control overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses.
  • Provide strong leadership and promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Support training programs that align with company goals and employee development.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a vertically integrated or matrixed manufacturing environment (consumer goods or related industry preferred).
  • Proven experience managing production operations, materials, logistics, safety, quality, and engineering functions.
  • Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement programs.
  • Strong background in team leadership, change management, and performance optimization.
  • Bedding or furniture manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
