Description:
Candidates must perform mammography tests and develop results to produce quality breast images for radiologists.
Candidates will evaluate patient history and physicians' orders to ensure appropriate procedures are performed.
Candidates may assist physicians in special procedures to ensure all procedures are performed to standards.
Candidates will access and handle selected medications as necessary.
Candidates are responsible for processing Quality Control checks on systems as per the American College of Radiology.
Candidates will notify supervisors of maintenance needs to ensure equipment functions properly.
Candidates must maintain proper documentation on the Radiology Information System to track procedures performed on each patient.
Candidates are expected to communicate and consult with patients, informing them of procedures to ensure patient comfort.
Candidates must maintain a positive working relationship with employees, medical staff, patients, and visitors to ensure efficient work processes.
Candidates may provide training and supervision to radiologic students during their rotations.
Candidates should identify ways to improve work processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Candidates are expected to make recommendations to supervisors and implement changes when necessary.
