Job description

As a Temporary Associate Wellness Director LPN at Cascades of Bend you’ll provide medication management and skilled nursing procedures for residents in compliance with state regulations.

What we look for in a Temporary Associate Wellness Director:

  • Maintains a current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner

  • Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families

  • Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day

  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends

What you can expect to do:

  • Make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency

  • Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences and preferred routines

  • Assisting in training and monitoring of medication care administration

  • Demonstrate organizational skills around time management

  • Monitor the performance of caregivers to assure quality care

  • Educate residents and staff about health maintenance and disease prevention
