Overview

JACKSONVILLE, FL (NOCATEE: LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) - A private, high-level family is seeking an exceptional FULL-TIME NANNY / HOUSE MANAGER to support their 10-year-old daughter and maintain seamless household operations in a refined, long-term role. This position is ideal for a polished, career nanny who brings discretion, structure, and a calm, proactive presence, and who thrives in a high-trust, professional household environment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 50 hours per week, with flexibility required. The child attends school during the day, with varying schedules from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 5:30 PM, depending on the day. The role requires adaptability to manage both morning routines and afternoon/evening transitions, as well as flexibility for additional coverage, including overnight care during family travel.

The nanny will maintain a high level of organization throughout the home, assist with laundry and light housekeeping, manage household inventory and supplies, coordinate vendors, and implement efficient systems to ensure the home runs smoothly. The home is located in Nocatee, a premier gated community in Jacksonville, offering a resort-style lifestyle with parks, walking paths, and excellent amenities. The household includes one calm and friendly 2-year-old Goldendoodle, and candidates must be comfortable with pet care, including feeding, walking, and general support.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in high-end private households and operates as a true partner within the home. They are highly organized, intuitive, and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and execute with excellence. Strong communication skills, discretion, professionalism, and the ability to balance independence with collaboration are essential.

Requirements include a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, a reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed), CPR certification, and comfort with swimming, as the home includes a pool. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and comfortable with a flexible schedule.

The family prefers candidates who receive an annual influenza vaccination. Compensation is $30+/hr commensurate with experience, paid via payroll on a weekly or bi-weekly basis + 10 PTO days & TBD on holidays provided. This is a long-term opportunity for a highly capable professional seeking a stable, high-trust role within an established household. Start date is May 18-26, 2026.
