Job description

In thischallenging role, you will be supporting the Continuing Education IMT(industrial, Manufacturing & Trades) department at Greenville TechnicalCollege.
The selectedcandidate will deliver training classes in-person in one or more of thefollowing subject areas:

  • NCCER Electrical Technician Training
  • Machine Tool Technology
  • Pneumatics and Hydraulics
  • Programmable Logic Controllers
  • Mechanical Systems
  • CNC Maintenance and Robotic Maintenance
  • Mechatronics

Dutiesmay include any or all of the following.

  • Develop and deliver training materials
  • Follow syllabus guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe work environment for students and enforce all safety rules
  • Present material at a pace students will understand and that will permit coverage of vital concepts
  • Check and report any equipment malfunctions
  • Begin and end class on time
  • Maintain record of attendance and other required documentation
  • Provide feedback to program coordinator as to progress of students, class attendance, and student feedback.
  • Assist with setup and clean-up procedures before and/or after each class and or lab.
