Location: Torrance, CA (Harbor-UCLA Medical Center)
Job Type: Travel / Local Contract
Shift / Schedule: 12-Hour Days (36 hours/week)
Pay Range: $2,273.33 - $2,674.50 per week
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for an assignment at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This position offers immediate interviews for qualified candidates looking to work within a high-volume Level I Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients within the Operating Room before, during, and immediately following procedures.
  • Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical specialties in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment.
  • Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields, surgical equipment, and room setup.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Licensure: Active California RN License (or eligible for immediate practice).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Operating Room experience; Level I Trauma experience preferred.
  • Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, MAB (Managing Assaultive Behavior), and LA Fire Safety certification.
  • Additional Requirements: Live Scan fingerprinting completed on-site in LA County prior to orientation.
