JOB OVERVIEW:

This position will provide upkeep for secondary student devices, as well as helping with other technology maintenance needs for the end of the school year, in preparation for the following school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school graduate or equivalent.

  2. General knowledge / experience with technology systems preferred:

    1. Online services such as Google Apps for Educationย 

    2. Ipads and Chromebooks

    3. Information system MISTAR Q

  3. Experience troubleshooting technology.

  4. Good organizational skills and ability to be self-directed.

  5. Willingness to work with staff to help meet their needs.

  6. Ability to maintain confidential information.

  7. Good attendance record.

  8. Have vehicle and driver's license.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supports district technology device program including but not limited to physically cleaning devices, "wiping" and re imaging devices, troubleshooting and repair of secondary student devices used for the 1-to-1 program.
  2. Electronic record keeping in support of the device fleet.
  3. Bending, lifting, and overhead work required.
  4. Preparation of physical space and equipment for device issuance the following school year.
  5. Assists and performs other tasks and duties as assigned.

Stipend amount is dependent on assigned work schedule, which will be determined at time of employment.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:ย 


Upon recommendation for employment, Section 1230g, as amended, of the Revised School Code requires all school employees to be electronically finger printed for the purpose of undergoing a criminal history background check. The fingerprinting is conducted by a third party and is at the expense of the applicant. Cost for fingerprinting is approximately $70.00.
