Description
  • The Monmouth County Highway Division is responsible for the maintenance and repairs to over 1,000 lane miles of county roads. Our responsibilities include shared services with local municipalities and assisting other county divisions.
    Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    Asphalt Maintenance and repairs.
    Winter Maintenance, salt application and snow plowing.
    Grass cutting and landscaping maintenance.
    Debris and litter pick up.
    Storm water maintenance and repairs.
    Commercial Drivers License (B or higher) with Air Brake endorsement required upon hiring. Although experience is desired, we will provide on the job training. We also provide safety training, and the safety equipment necessary to maintain safe standards related to their job function.
