Salary: $15.04/hour base salary (based on full time experience)

*A negative TB test result must be on file prior to starting work
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid South Carolina Driver's License
  • Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
  • Positive employment history preferred
  • SLED/criminal background review required

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Status: "At-will" Employee
Responsible To: Director of Operations
Job Duties:
  • Provide general maintenance of the grounds within the school district
  • Perform yard duties in order to maintain the school grounds in an attractive condition (i.e. grass cutting, trimming shrubs, etc.)
  • Keeps grounds free from trash and rubbish
  • Maintain building and premises (i.e. sidewalks, driveways, play areas) clean and neat at all times
  • Report any necessary major repairs and/or damage of district property
  • Provide assistance in other maintenance areas as assigned
  • Perform other related duties as required, as well as all other duties as assigned

3. Copy of 10 year Driving Record issued from SCDMV
