Job description

This position will run from April through November.ย 

Pro Shop Attendant will be responsible for moving carts from the cart barn to the Pro Shop on a daily basis. Ensures carts are clean and contain the appropriate amount of gas before moving to the shop for guest use. Does minor cleaning in and around the Pro Shop as assigned.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Greet golf course guests entering the pro shop
  • Set up tee times and collect greens fees or cart fees on Tsnap
  • Restock merchandise as necessaryย 
  • Maintain an accurate cash bank at all times and deposits money as established
  • Pick up practice range balls from the driving range and keep range ball supply stocked in the golf shop
  • Loading, unloading and cleaning guestsโ€™ golf clubs and storing clubs in club storage area
  • Assist with golf outings and tournaments
  • Assist with Snack Bar sales as needed depending on business levels
  • Handle any guest complaints or issues in a professional manner
  • Operate Beverage cart as needed

Qualifications:

  • 18 or older required
  • Knowledge of golf course operations is desired.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license required
  • Ability to work any shift, weekends and holidays
  • Must have a professional, courteous and friendly mannerย 
  • Previous cash handling/customer service experience
  • Must be able to occasionally bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, crouch, kneel and repeatedly carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within service time frames established by the company
